Community Teamwork’s Center for Financial Self-Sufficiency, in collaboration with Lowell Public Schools, presents our 8th Annual Women’s Conference

F i n a n c i a l l y H e r s

FinanciallyHers, offered during Lowell Women’s Week, is a seminar focusing on women and their personal financial journey. Workshops are designed to deliver up-to-date content that supports women and directly relates to issues faced in today’s economy. Our focus is to help women become financially independent by offering the right information, tools and resources.

Participants will choose a workshop, enjoy a lovely luncheon, spend time networking and receive a gift card to Market Basket.

Your resume is the first thing a potential employer sees about you. This workshop will provide you with tips to write a resume so you can land that job you want. Working for Yourself and Everything You Need to Know to Get Started:
This workshop is a great introduction to the new entrepreneur. We will address everything you need to know to get started, we’ll review those questions you need to ask yourself to see if you are ready and delve deeply into the pros and cons of working for yourself! Couponing – A Way to Increase Your Income:
It can be fun. It can be lots of work but overall, it will help you increase your monthly income if you do it right. We are talking couponing! Come to this workshop and be guided by an experienced couponer, Karen Stairs. Karen has not only been couponing for years, she teaches others how to navigate the process to yield the best deal! Help! I need to Fix My Credit:
Your credit says almost everything about you to many, including potential employers, financial institutions and landlords. It can either work for you or against you. This hands-on workshop will guide you in the steps necessary to repair, maintain and build credit. Please bring a laptop, if you do not have a laptop, let the registrar know.
