Preparing For Employment
About This Program
Founded in 1998, SuitAbility serves women who are seeking employment and are referred to us from various training programs, social service agencies, and other entities. We provide clients with clothing and accessories for a job interview and a second call back. The items are provided at no cost and are intended to increase the woman’s chances of obtaining employment. We know that appearance is key to success. A recent article from the Wall Street Journal stated that interviewers estimated that 70% of candidates for jobs were dressed inappropriately. We work to close that gap by raising our clients’ self-esteem and instilling confidence in their abilities – that all comes through during the interview process.
In 2015, we introduced a limited inventory of men’s clothing as well!
