Since 1979, Community Teamwork has sponsored the Lowell Farmers’ Market, offering fresh, locally grown produce from area farmers, as well as meats, fish, honey, baked goods, prepared meals, hand-crafts and more, in a beautiful, urban setting. While you shop, enjoy live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and activities for the whole family! Open Fridays, from July through October, the Lowell Farmers’ Market is a rare gem in the heart of Downtown Lowell.

Seona Ban Ngufor, small-scale vegetable farmer and resident of Lowell, MA, signed a lease to use one acre of land that was identified through a new Farmland Identification and Outreach Initiative lead by the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project.

The Lowell Farmers’ Market is pleased to offer opportunities for Educational and/or Entertainment presentations.

Any organization can apply to attend Lowell Farmers’ Market as a community, non-profit or educational organization, or as a performer. We are eager to include performers such as musicians, theater groups, dance troops, authors/readers/storytellers, jugglers, class/educational demos!
