Since 1979, Community Teamwork has sponsored the Lowell Farmers’ Market, offering fresh, locally grown produce from area farmers, as well as meats, fish, honey, baked goods, prepared meals, hand-crafts and more, in a beautiful, urban setting. While you shop, enjoy live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and  activities for the whole family! Open Fridays, from July through October, the Lowell Farmers’ Market is a rare gem in the heart of Downtown Lowell.

FRIDAY AUGUST 17TH WAS WIC DAY!!!! There are still some checks remaining at the WIC office – please contact them for more information 978.454.6397To qualify, you must be over 4 months of age and be actively receiving WIC services. Benefits are $20 per person and are given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please call the Lowell WIC Office at 978.454.6397 with any questions. See you then!

ENTERTAINMENT AT THE MARKET ~ WE WANT YOU!

The Lowell Farmers’ Market is pleased to offer opportunities for Educational and/or Entertainment presentations.

                      

Organizations and/or performers must contact Susan Brittain, Director of the Lowell Farmers’ Market for more information: sbrittain@commteam.org or 978-654-4905.  Any organization can apply to attend Lowell Farmers’ Market as a community, non-profit or educational organization, or as a performer. We are eager to include performers such as musicians, theater groups, dance troops, authors/readers/storytellers, jugglers, class/educational demos!

  • Seniors will be provided transportation from the Lowell Senior center to Lowell Farmers’ Market where they can use their senior coupons to purchase items!

DURING THE WINTER MONTHS VISIT MILLS 5 MARKET, SUNDAYS 11-3 AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR HIP BENEFITS – Based on family size: 1-2 = $40/month, 3-5 = $60/month, 6+ = $80/month can be used to buy fresh fruits and vegetables and this amount will not be subtracted from your EBT total!
