Community Teamwork (CTI) is pleased to announce that Nicholas DiGiammo has been selected to lead its Youth Services Organization. In his new role, Mr. DiGiammo will oversee all Youth Services programs, including; Intake and Assessment, Youth Navigation, Youth Family Foundations, Youth Housing Pathways, Housing Workshops, Crisis Transitional Housing and the Mill You Drop-In Center, as well as
oversee its Youth Build programs.
Mayor Sokhary Chau carried on the tradition of previous Mayors Ed Kennedy, Bill Samaras and John Leahy by helping to support and raise money for Community Teamwork’s Youth Services organization at the recent Evening to End Youth Homelessness.
After 20 years at the helm of Community Teamwork, and
46 years of dedicated service with the Community Action Agency, Karen Frederick, CEO, has
announced her retirement effective November 1, 2024.
More than 150 community leaders from Lowell and Greater Lowell municipal government, school systems, police departments, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and elected officials joined Community Teamwork on Oct. 11 at the Showcase Cinema de Lux Lowell to watch the groundbreaking film, “Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America.
