Provide Your Input, Strengthen Our Community

As part of our three-year Strategic Plan, Community Teamwork is currently surveying community residents to ask you what your thoughts are about needs in your community. We would like to hear what you see as the most important issues facing our communities today. Your input is important to us and the survey will only take about five minutes of your time. Please help us learn what the most critical needs are by responding to this survey.

Community Teamwork is reaching out to a wide range of businesses and organizations across many sectors of its community action service footprint, which consists of Lowell and the surrounding towns of Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Dunstable, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, and Westford, to elicit help in disseminating the survey. The goal of the needs assessment survey is to have a robust response from a diverse population that reflects the community CTI serves, in order to shape its programming and service offering.

“The Community Needs Assessment informs CTI’s strategic planning and program design. We use this data to determine the most pressing unmet needs and identify the most under served people in the community”, explained Community Teamwork’s CEO, Karen Frederick. “The results of this process helps Community Teamwork focus on building, expanding programs, and advocating for policies in keeping with the self-identified needs of the community.”

Community Teamwork would like to extend a special thank you for the efforts of Dr. Lee Ackerson. Dr. Ackerson is the Chair of the Community Needs Assessment, and his UMass Lowell students are assisting in collecting and analyzing data.
